I have been seeing their tv ads and love the product. Visited their website and it seems genine. (magicjack.com)Anybody has this product?Any bad experience?

People either hate or love a product. I love my magicJack!
I have owned one for three months and have used it extensively to call within US/Canada and also to the UK (0.2 cents a minute to UK).
It plugs into your USB port and only works while the computer is on. Only works with XP and Vista. You can use the internet while using the phone but any heavy duty downloads/uploads will have an effect on the voice quality.
Works great about 95% of the times as there are still a few wrinkles to be ironed out but all in all not a bad product, especially for the price ($ 39.95 + shipping which includes first year of local calling and unlimitted callling in US and Canada). No extra changes. Another year is $ 19.95 per year.
