Compare VoIP Phone Service Providers

Question by N: I have Vonage home phone service, How do I get my number listed on 411 and on yellow pages?
I live in California and I need my number listed and Vonage doesn’t list it. What do I do to get it listed?
I mean White Pages, not yellow pages.

you are not likely going to be able to get it listed for 411…

for the yellow pages, you would have to contact the publisher of whatever yellow page publication that you want to be listed in, as there are several 3rd party yellow page directories around, not just the regional bell yellow pages any longer. Yellow pages are business listings, and are paid listings, you need to pay to be listed in the yellow pages, so I do not see having a VoIP telephone provider being a problem with getting listed in the yellow pages, as those listings are paid listings.

There is a small possibility that when you list with the yellow pages, you may be listed with directory assistance as well…
