Question by Suba: can we make calls from a voip phone to normal phones?
How voip phone works? From a normal mobile or fixed line phone can we make a call to a voip phone? and from a voip phone to a fixed line / mobile phone ? is it possible. Who is providing best service in India regarding voip and what are the business opportunities for young entrepreneurs available in this field?

I have a VOIP phone (broadvoice.) I haven’t found a phone yet that I cannot call, nor a phone that cannot call me. When I use certain VPN services, outgoing calls are blocked, though.

VoIP is the protocol used to carry the audio part of your phone call. Almost all VoIP providers route the data to a call center where it is interfaced into the regular phone system if the number you are calling is a standard landline phone.
